7 Weeks 4 Days old!  I can't believe it has been almost 8 weeks!

Busy Girls!

Wow what a bad blogger I've been!  Let's just say...we've been BUSY!  

Between doctor's appointments, getting ready for baby Moulton to arrive and wedding events, blogging has been left behind.  So I'm going to take this quiet opportunity to quickly update everyone on what is going on in the DOYLE HOUSE!

DOCTOR APPOINTMENT:  The doctor gave me the OK to have sex again...(Scary).

She also helped me make some decisions about birth control.  The pill is nothing like a normal pill.  Errr I didn't know that!  The pill I can take because I am breastfeeding only works for 18-20 hours.  With my luck, I will get pregnant in that 2 hour window.  And she told me I should us condoms and spermicide.  So now we are thinking about the IUD which I didn't want to do.  I wanted to be on the normal pill I used to be on.  Anyways...that decision is soon to come.

BABY MOULTON PREPARATION:  Pat and I have been trying to help get Mike and Deidra moved into their new place so they are ready for Baby Moulton when he  (or she) is ready to come out.  Pat helped Mike put shingles down and I have been cleaning and moving stuff in.  The house already looks 100 times better!

WEDDING EVENTS: Last weekend Pat and I went away for Lindsay and Steve's

 Bachelor/Bachelorette weekend.  Steve and the guys went to Portland and us gals went to CT.  Pat and I were super excited to go out with our friends but nervous for our first night out without the lil' girl.  We dropped Jacey off at Gee's house around 8:30 am and took off.  Surprisingly I was OK.  

Also when we dropped Jacey off we didn't know that Sherrill actually did something to her back and she couldn't

 barely walk.  Good faking Sherrill! 

Nicole, Sarah, Jenn and I headed to Lindsay's to

 surprise her!  She had no idea what time we were going to pick her up.  We pulled up to her condo with blasting music, a honking horn, stuff written all over the car windows and champagne for mamosas.  I yelled, "

Wake up and get your a#% out here you s&*$!"  He he.  The boys were like SHHHHHHH!  We gave her a half hour to pack her bags and we were off.

People honked at us the whole way to CT.  My side window said HONK IF YOU'RE HORNY!

When we got to Connecticut we took Lindsay to Laura's house for lunch.  Then we surprised Lindsay with a SENSUAL DANCE CLASS!  

We learned stripping techniques, drank, and laughed really hard for 2 straight hours.  She loved it!

Then off to the hotel to get ready to go out for the night. 

 Lindsay's parents surprised her at the hotel.  Off to Foxwoods for dinner at Hard Rock and then to the new MGM GRAND for a night of dancing at the SHRINE.  So Fun!

OMG...What an amazing time!  

Up and Out!

This feels so weird.  It's 6:30 am and I am getting ready for work.  My friend and I have to present at our staff meeting this morning at 7:50.  We have been working on a project since the beginning of the year and today is the day to share what we did with the staff.  

For some reason I think that Jacey knew we had somewhere to go this morning because she slept straight through the night.  She went into her crib at 9:45pm and woke up at 4:45am.  That's crazy...7 hours!  I'm not going to lie Pat and I kept waking up and checking on her.  Oh and the other weird thing is that at 12:15 I woke up to pump.  I never do that.  Thank goodness I did because I think my boobs might have exploded.

Well I should get the lil' monster ready to go with me.  She is going to meet my class and all my school friends today.  Hopefully she cooperates!

Too Many Bubbles!

Last night Pat and I gave Jacey a bath.  I prepared the bath while Pat got Jacey undressed and out of her diaper.  I thought I would try and put a little body wash in the bathtub to make a few bubbles.  Well as you can see my few bubbles turned into a bathtub full of bubbles.  Pat walked into the kitchen and said, "What are you doing?"  Opps...  I tried to get rid of some of the bubbles but it was impossible.  So Jacey just had to deal with the bubbles for a bit.  She didn't care even when the bubbles were on her lips. Oh and on her head too.  Pat made her a fro of her own.

How do you like my new hair?

She loves her baths.  The second we take her out she screams!

Cousin Kellan & I

I have to tell all of you about the fun day I had today.

This afternoon my cousin Kellan came over to play.  I had a blast...most of the time.  

I only had a couple of hissy fits when Auntie Shannon picked me up.  My cousin Kellan is only six days older than me but he is much bigger than me.

Kellan is already beating me up.

Silly Girl!

This afternoon I was playing with Jacey and put her on her tummy on the Boppy.  She doesn't really like being on her tummy but I want her to develop her muscles.  She was working her legs on the Boppy.  Don't let her fool you, she is fine she just gets a lil' attitude sometimes.  

Mother's Day Surprise

We woke up on Saturday and decided that sitting on the couch was out of the 

question for the day.

  

So we decided to run to Rochester to pick up our pictures and head to Ossipee for the day.  Daddy got Jacey dressed, we packed up and hit the road.  Trey was thrilled and Jacey was clueless.  Thankfully Jacey loves riding in the car.  She was quiet the entire trip.  

When we got there mom was soooo surprised and excited to show all of her camp friends her first granddaughter.

We also had a chance to get a four generation picture.  This is so exciting.

I Never Thought...

I wish I could tell you that staying home is exactly as easy as I expected.  Those of you who are moms probably know what I am talking about.  No matter what people told me before I had Jacelyn, I truly thought that I was going to be able to take a shower (when I wanted), clean my house, exercise, cook dinners for the hubby, visit friends, go shopping and many other things. I have quickly realized that all of those things CAN be done just in a round about way and nothing speedy.  Everything takes 5X longer than it used to.  I never thought that I would be in bed at 11/12 in the morning but when your sleep is limited and choppy, staying in bed is the only thing I can do to make sure I am the best mom I can be.

On the other hand, the mom part I am enjoying. Each day brings something new and exciting.  Every day Jacey grows and changes and I love watching her.  Before I had her, I wondered if I was cut out to be a mom and now thankfully I have proven to myself that I can do it and be good at it.  Phew!
