So Pat and I thought it would be a fun idea to keep everyone we love in the loop with everything that is going on in our lives. As most of you know, Pat and I have just recently decided to start a family. Very exciting, but super scary at the same time. For the longest time, the both of us were petrified to have children, especially an infant. But I guess as time goes by, people get older and things change. It was early August when I was patiently waiting for my period. Part of me was hoping for it to come but the other part of me was going to be super disappointed if I did get my period. Well it wasn't coming, so I stopped at Rite Aid (not in town) to get THE TEST. It was so uncomfortable since this was the first time ever purchasing a pregnancy test. Later that night I brought the idea up to Pat and he encouraged me to give it a try. I went pee and RAN!!!!! I couldn't look.
Pat went into the bathroom to pee right after me.
Hummm, he was rather curious I guess. That is how we got to the picture I posted. Yup the test said, "PREGNANT".
After a couple of minutes the news sunk in and then Pat and I were smiling and excited. The only problem that we faced was the fact that we had a huge secret to keep for a little while.
