It's My Turn: Daddy's 28th Birthday!

So here is the scoop...for the past 6 months my mom and dad keep writing about me.  I'm this many inches, this many ounces blah blah blah!  They have neglected to let all of you know what they have been up to.

Let me just ask...
What am I getting myself into?  My parents are crazy!

Just see the pictures from my daddy's 28th birthday!  Yeah, I know it is only fair for everyone to celebrate their birthday but ridin' a hog at Hawg's Pen with Uncle Nick on the back? I never knew my daddy was that crazy!  Who does he think he is?

The night started off pretty laid back.  Grammy Doyle brought Daddy down his favorite ice cream cake (ok it is mom and I's favorite too), he opened his cards and presents and went up to the school to watch/coach basketball.  They were playing Concord Christian Academy in the Christmas Tourney which Daddy was pretty confident he was going to beat.  We went up to the game with Auntie Deidra and met mom & dad's friends there.  Oh and Auntie & Uncle Nick showed up too.  The game was pretty boring because the Tiger boys won by a lot, thankfully because that meant Daddy was going to be in a good mood!  Everyone came over for a little bit to have drinks and socialize.

Then Uncle Nick had a wonderfully brilliant idea...he thought everyone should go to the bar to have some shots.  YUK!  I knew this was a bad idea from the feeling in mom's stomach.  Daddy didn't need shots.  We got to Hawg's Pen around 11:15, way past my bedtime but that's okay because it was a special day.

Daddy met some of his friends and that is when the girls (thanks goodness) got their own table and hung out while the guys did their thing.  Mom got some good pictures with my really nice Aunties.  I really like them all a lot!
The men played pool and had shots and beers.
I can't believe mom and auntie had to ride the hog before they left!
Uncle Nick was happy and talkative! P.S. Straighten your bills next time Uncle! he he

So it is a new day and I am really tired after such an exciting night.  That is why alls I am doing today is sleeping.  No kicking or moving for me!

All in all, I think Daddy had a really fun birthday.  I am excited to be part of all this fun when I am out in the world.  Mom and Dad really have some great family and friends.  Thanks everyone for helping to make my dad's birthday a lot of fun!

Well Baby Jacie, you are absolutely right...you don't know what you are in for, but we sure do know how to have fun! Your Mommy and Daddy had a great time last night, but Auntie didn't have so much fun putting your Uncle Nicky to bed! Oh, and by the way...I know you were excited when I was playing with you the other night, but you weren't supposed to keep mommy up you silly girl!
I love you...Auntie Nini
